Swedish Massage

A massage that focuses on releasing chronic muscle tension.

Fingers, thumbs, forearms and elbows are used to create space in and lengthen muscle tissue fibers. The strokes are slow and deep—with pressure deeper than Swedish Massage—and may feel intense but not painful.

No one massage modality is the most beneficial. The Combo massage incorporates several different modalities for your specific needs.

The client’s overall concerns, pain patterns and muscle issues indicate what massage modalities are the most appropriate to use.

Hot Rock massage incorporates Swedish or Deep Swedish with hot stones to create a wonderfully relaxing massage. The stones are used to perform massage strokes, and their penetrating heat helps to loosen tight muscles.

Hot Rock massage is not recommended for pregnant women.
