Dottie Dykstra has been a massage therapist since 2002. She is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Wisconsin, Nationally Certified, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

Dottie obtained her degree from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy; and since graduating, has studied many different massage modalities:

· Swedish Massage

· Neuromuscular Testing

· Deep Tissue Massage

· Myofascial Release

· Pregnancy Massage

· Thai Massage

· Hot Stone Massage

· First Aid / CPR / AED

 

No one massage modality is the most beneficial. The client’s overall concerns, pain patterns and muscle issues will indicate what is most appropriate. That can involve several different modalities within the treatment session and plan.
